I haven't actually used it on the horse yet, but years ago I used to have a similar saddle cloth which was smashing for carrying my phone, bits and pieces etc when I didn't have pockets to carry them on my person. As I intend to go out for long rides in the summer and take a packed lunch, the pockets on this saddle cloth will prove to be most useful.
It's a well made item and well worth the money, I'm glad I spotted it as I've not been able to find one like it at a reasonable cost (my old one was stolen with a number of other items). Would recommend.

It fits my high-withered 16.2 mare well; it is of sturdy construction with well-designed pockets and useful D-ring. It was easy to access the pockets whilst riding, and they hold plenty. My horse didn't appear to notice any difference between the loaded saddle cloth and her usual numnah. Excellent in all respects save the fabric is not breathable, having said that I didn't find my mare got noticeably sweaty.

Presume the straps at the front are to attach a breast plate ? Not quite in the right place, would mean that the breast plate would be on the horses' neck. Works if the stirrup leathers are threaded through the loops.
